Darwin 200 is a planetary conservation initiative which aims to change the world through achieving three main objectives:
1. DARWIN LEADERS: We will create tomorrow’s elite conservation leaders.
2. WORLD’S MOST EXCITING CLASSROOM: Beaming activities, research projects, experiments, lectures, essay competitions and weekly ‘nature hour’ events.
3. CITIZEN SCIENCE RESEARCH: Partnering with key conservation organisations to deliver a range of citizen science research projects.
In this video, Stewart McPherson gives an overview of the DARWIN200 Global Voyage and the project objectives that will be undertaken.
Dr Jane Goodall provides a message of support about the DARWIN200 Global Voyage.
