Bonobos are an ape that share 99% of their genes with humans, and are only found in the rainforest of the DR Congo.
DR Congo's rainforest is the second largest in the world. The peatland and trees soak up and retain huge amounts of carbon, which would otherwise exacerbate the climate crisis.
Here, bonobos eat nuts and fruit, before spreading the seeds around to grow new trees and shrubs.
