A look back on some of the key moments and outcomes of WFN's biodiversity summit, titled 'People for Planet'.
The 2-day event brought together 11 of the world's star conservationists at London's Royal Institution on the 6th and 7th November, 2023.
Joined by special guest panellists and moderators, Whitley Award-winning environmentalists explored ingenious solutions to saving nature - from rainforest dentistry to bat-friendly tequila.
With a reputation of being backed by Sir David Attenborough, Whitley Award alumni drew cross sector audiences who helped create and inclusive forum of discussion ahead of COP28, culminating in the launch of the Ethical Conservation Alliance.
Hosted by the Whitley Fund for Nature, audiences heard from the frontline how their favourite species, from snow leopards and lions to penguins and sharks, are adapting and how insects rule the world!
