Scientific consensus tells us that human civilisation is facing potential catastrophic impacts from an ever changing climate. The risks include risks include sea level rise, extreme and erratic weather events, food insecurity, conflict, migration and war. Many of the most vulnerable people who bear little responsibility for the causes of climate change, are among the least able to feel the expertise, technology and capital that can address extreme climate impacts.
