A comprehensive film is about the snow leopards that live in the magnificent high-altitude desert habitat of Himachal Pradesh's Spiti Valley.The narrative of the film follows Karma, the dominant male animal and his harem of few females. Filmed over five years, a coherent story is told with unique sequences of scent-marking, courtship, mating and a wild den with two young cubs. This movie stands out due to its poignant depiction of Karma's life and death as well as the entry of Namka the new king. Woven through the snow leopard narrative are the adventures, frustrations and eventual success of the Bedi Brothers and their team.
