Louise Egerton shares with us the story of how a neglected patch of land, approx 5000 square metres in size, next to her home in the suburbs north of Sydney has been cleared, nurtured and transformed by local residents.
Now known as the Algona Nature Reserve the land is an increasingly important home for local and indigenous flora and fauna.
