    Don, a bison ranger, embarks on a journey to the Białowieża Forest in Poland, where he uncovers how these gentle giants are transforming ecosystems. Armed with these insights, he returns to the UK with a new appreciation of what it means to live alongside wildlife, furthering his work to restore nature and reconnect the next generation through his work with Wildwood Trust.
This film began as a simple idea and grew into a passion project that brought together more than fifty incredible people. Donovan Wright see, through his eyes, the beauty and power of what’s unfolding. This film has truly has been a labour of love.
 Film maker At just 24, Giles Pitman makes his directorial debut with a bold new voice in storytelling. Based in Bristol’s renowned natural history TV hub, Giles has honed his craft bringing wild places and hidden cultures to the screen. Passionate about giving a platform to the voiceless—whether species, landscapes, or people—he is driven by a deep love of the natural world and the thrill of expedition filmmaking. With this debut, Giles turns his lens closer to home, crafting an impactful story that reflects both his adventurous spirit and his commitment to meaningful storytelling.
