Going Wild with John & James Episode 5
Science: Year 1
•
Adventure, Documentary, Kids and Family
In this fifth safari journey, John and James take to the Okavango Delta in mokoros, the traditional dugout canoes, exploring its lilies, edible plants, and hidden waterways. Along the way, they share bush remedies, avoid hippos and crocodiles, and marvel at elephants cooling off in the river. A village stop leads to pool games beside elephants, while baboon and impala sightings showcase the rhythm of wildlife. Venturing into Mopani country, they track buffalo and study industrious ants before quietly following leopard tracks through thick bush. Their patience is rewarded with a rare sighting of the elusive “ghost of the bush”—a leopard on foot, a moment as breathtaking as it is unforgettable.
