Adams is currently involved in the fight against wildlife trafficking in his native Democratic Republic of Congo where he heads a nature conservation non profit called "Conserv Congo " (www.conservcongo.org).
The organization focuses mainly on the anti-poaching, curbing the scourge of wildlife trafficking, civic education on natural heritage in communities and schools as well as sustainable development for communities living around parks and nature reserves.
